All right. Welcome back everybody. We are testing every single mask in the world. Sounds crazy, right? Well, I am. That's why we're doing it. Today we found a mask at Staples, it's a brand you're probably very familiar with. It's the Beixikang, literally this is the worst pronouncement, I can't say this.

So instead of trying to pronounce the name, we're just going to put it in the clamp, clamp it down. I'm a clamp, I'm a clamp. I'm a clamp. I'm a clamp. It's a big mask, and we'll let it rip. This is a PFE machine, particulate filtration efficiency. Check out that video if you want to know more. All right, so what the heck is this thing? Beixikang, Beixikang. Well, we did find it at Staples. This is the Staples ad. This was kind of like last year, you can see it right there. Really not much about it. Just saying it's disposable, also found it on Instacart. You can buy it now I guess, on Instacart. So I don't know. Let's look at the box.

Big, giant, probably the biggest claim I've ever seen. It does say BFE 95%. So I'm going to hold them to that, even though we're doing PFE, because people they're marketing here. BFE doesn't matter for coronavirus, which you're looking for is particulate filtration. Bacteria, the way they do the test, they put bacteria on the top of the mask, set it for 24 hours. See how much gets through, bacteria's huge, coronavirus will go right through. So I'm going to hold them to 95%.

I'm looking at any other claims here. I don't see any let's open it up. I think I bought this last year. I'm going to pull out a bunch of these. It's a basic, it is sealed, that's nice. Pretty basic mask, basic construction, it's okay. The ear loop is very small. It looks like they have a good weld there, but let's see how it holds up on the ear. Ooh, that's good. Okay. I'm going to do five on the ear loops. Ooh, that's kind of breaking a lot, five out of 10. Yeah. It's pretty good nose wire though, so I'm going to give a 20 out of 25 on the construction. Let's do the smell. I'm going to call this mask box. That's the smell, smells like a mask box. Smells like cardboard, maybe a little bit of plastic. Not terrible. I'm going to give that a 20 out of 25 on the smell scale. All right. But no, see, yeah. It's pretty good. Does any of that matter if it doesn't protect you? This machine, it will tell you, holy [inaudible 00:03:11] 57.917. What, what? 57.917.
