Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the place we're testing every single mask that we can find on Amazon. Today, we're looking specifically at kids' KF94s, which are a really cool format. Let's get it in the clamper and see what happens.

I love KF94s that come individually packaged like this. Most of the time I found that when they're not individually packaged in this beautiful, metallic packaging, it's a fake. That's a dead giveaway also. They're probably cheaper that way, because that's really expensive. I looked into doing this for our mask. Way too expensive. Could not do this in the United States. They must have government subsidized packaging companies or something, or maybe they're just better than us.

Now, let's get it going. This is a PFE machine, particularly filtration efficiency machine. If you want to find out more about what I'm doing here, I will put up a link, but the quick thing is I'm doing the N95 test here. I know, it's a KF94, but the tests are probably similar. I think it's a little bit different, but most KF94s that do well are in the 97, 98% on this machine. This one should be, too, if it is legit. That's all you really care about.

Let's take a look at the listing. This is the kids' KF94. There's not really a kids' KF94 standard that I'm told. It's just a small KF94. They do have different sizes. It comes in a package like this, and they're all individual in here. Bluna. Most real KF94s have a lot of Korean writing on them. That's a good thing because the legitimate KF94 has to be made in Korea, which it tells you right there. Don't let that freak you out. That's a good thing.

Let's try this. Oh my gosh. That is so strong. Look at this. It's adjusting on the side. Look at that. Wow. You would think that, that adjustability would be weak, but oh no, that is dynamite. Now, this is for a kid, keep in mind. I'm going to call this recently sterilized nursery. It smells clean, but too clean. Construction's great though. It's got this little feature here, where you can pull like this. See? See? It's super strong. I was using the Air Queen. They have one that's a little similar, but it breaks. I just pulled on this thing and then it's going to be super adjustable for kids. This is a really nicely put together mask.

But does it protect you? Let's take a look at what the machine says. 99.281. This is probably one of the best kids' masks I've seen, to be honest. What is the breathability? Breathability is 147 Pascals. That's like right under the mark for what I like to see. I like to see under 150 Pascal. It'd be great if it was less for a kid, but honestly, this, as far as I'm concerned, is my number one kids' mask right now. The Bluna KF94. If you're looking for a KF94 on Amazon, this is the one that I would be buying, to be honest. This one's blowing me away right now.

The BluNa Kids KF94 mask passed our particulate filtration efficiency machine test with a score of 99.30. KF94 masks are boat-style and made in Korea, which has very strict production guidelines. All KF94 masks have ear loops instead of head straps or head ties.

Mask breathability is determined by airflow resistance, which we measure in pascals. The target for adults should be around 150, and the target for children should be close to 100. The airflow resistance of this mask is 147.

This mask has an inoffensive clean smell. The construction is very impressive. The ear loops are incredibly strong and the sides of the mask are adjustable to improve fit.

As stated above, the packaging now has a “KN FLAX” on the top right corner rather than the CCM logo. Is it possible to re-run the test on the ones that denote KNFLAX? That’s what you will get when you buy on amazon.

Loved the Bluna mask for our 5 year old. The main seller on Amazon (which your link goes to) used to sell the real Bluna masks. They still say Bluna in the listing title but they have since removed any photos of the Bluna masks. When compared with actual Bluna masks, they are in fact different, and the packaging has a different manufacturer. It has been my conclusion they are selling alternative masks and looking to take advantage of the positive Bluna name.

The Bluna masks are still great, but look for another source to purchase from.
