The AOTDAOU KN95 Kids Mask failed because the KN95 standard requires that the mask have the manufacturer’s name and the appropriate technical standard, typically either "GB 2626-2019" or GB-2626-2006,” written across the front of the mask. This is similar to how official N95 masks display NIOSH approval numbers. This mask did not have the required identification on its front.

Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the place we're testing every single kid's mask on Amazon. Yes, today we're looking at the very popular AOTDAOU half face mask KN95. Hey, you can buy it on Amazon, so we're testing it in my lab. Let's open this up and see what's going on. Oh, guys, it's a soft touch box. Looks like we have a bunch of different designs, individually wrapped. Oh man, come on. Can't even open it. If I can't open it, how am I going to put it in the machine? Okay, that's interesting. So they're claiming to be a KN95. If you watched this channel before, you're already jumping at the chance to say, "Lloyd, Lloyd, look out! That's not a KN95!" If this is the first review you're seeing, you're like, "Who is this weirdo who's talking to himself?" All right, let's get this test going and I will explain what I'm talking about. This is a PFE machine, particulate filtration efficiency machine. We are doing the N95 test, which is very, very similar to the KN95 test, which is what these folks are claiming that they are.But we know that they're not a KN95 because to be a KN95, you need to have three things. You need to say KN95, you need to say GB2626-2019, which is the standard that they're holding themselves to. Need to have the manufacturer name. The manufacturer name is the [Chang Xou Lederk 00:01:36] Hygiene Products [Coalititive 00:01:40]. So they need to have that on the actual mask. That's a very simple thing to do. My question is if they're not following those simple standard instructions, what else are they not doing that they should be doing? Aw, that is... They're not making nice ear loops. That's for sure. Try putting it on the face. It's got this thing where it's sticking together when you open it up. Anytime that happens, the masks are not super high quality. I'm going to call this a pencil made out of plastic. The kids like to do that. Oh, snap, look at that. It's not a very good mask, not a very good mask. I don't like this style because I've noticed that it just rips really easily from the middle like that.
Let's take a look here at the listing. So they're saying it's KN95, adjustable fit. I don't see how it's an adjustable fit. I don't see that at all. Perfect. KN95 size for kids. If a kid wears adult size masks, they don't fit properly. Good point. Feels like they're just trying to fill words in here, to be honest. So did they follow this standard by putting good quality fabric in? That's what this machine will tell you. They did. Look at that, 98.419, 98.419. Did we see the breathability? 210 [pascals 00:03:00]. A little high. I like to see it below 150 pascals, especially for kids. If it's 100 or better, that's even better. 210 is within the standard, but it is a little high for me. All right, guys. Thank you so much for watching. I appreciate your time and attention. Not going to ask you for a like and subscribe.
We don't do that here, but what I will ask you for is to write a comment below on this video or any other video, but it's not for me. No, no. I don't do things for myself. You think I'm testing these masks for myself? No, I'm doing it for you because we're running a special competition here and we are selecting winners from people who are writing in the comment. So please do that. We're selecting a new winner every 24 hours and I hope it's you. If not, I will see you on the next test, which we're doing every day at 10:00 AM. I'll see you then.
