Hey, you. How're you doing? Want to test a mask with me? Because that's what we do here. We test every mask on Amazon. And Amazon keeps putting masks on, I'm going to keep testing them because we got nothing but time and money, apparently. All right. This is the TS Guard KF94, which is a Korean format. The packaging, I mean, it's just in a big old bag, an Amazon bag and just flopping around there. I've seen better, honestly. But look at that. I mean, that's nice. That's a great package there. And this is very common for the KF style masks is the packaging is just supreme. The Koreans know where it's at. I want to go to a Korean packaging conference. That sounds like a good time.
If that doesn't sound like a good time for you, then you probably, to be honest, you're watching the wrong channel because that's the kind of stuff that we are into here. We love packaging. We love particulate filtration efficiency machines. And I'm not really sure what TS stands for. But according to this, you should trust TS. Let's do the test of the... Yeah. I would say that the ear loops on KF94s are binary. They're either phenomenal or okay. This one is okay. I don't think it's going to break on your face. But I've seen better. What the absolute... What is going...
Okay. This is a weird smell. This is cardamon or something like that. That is not a smell that you would normally smell in a mask. I don't know. It's not strong, but it's also not pleasant, which is what I'm going to name the smell, not strong, but also not pleasant. Great style, right? Great style. Great breathability. Well, not great. But for a KF94, it's about 150 pascals, which is right where you want it to be. You don't want to go above. And the efficiency is 98.7. Thank you guys so much for watching. The TS Guard mask passed our particulate filtration efficiency machine test with a score of 98.70%. KF94 masks are boat-style and made in Korea, which has very strict production guidelines. All KF94 masks have ear loops instead of head straps or head ties.
Mask breathability is determined by airflow resistance, which we measure in pascals. The target for adults should be around 150, and the target for children should be close to 100. The airflow resistance of this mask is 150.
This mask has detectable, slightly unpleasant odor reminiscent of cardamon, which is not what we've previously encountered with KF94s. While we liked the mask's style, we thought the ear loops could be improved.
