Oh, hi there. I didn't see you. Would you like to test some masks with me today? Well, let's do it. Let's put it in the clamp and see what happens, huh? I just happened to have some KF-94's here that I bought on Amazon. If you join me today on this journey... Oh, look at that, "Find this on Amazon." We'll see if this mask is any good.

This is the Air-Soom Mask. That's as far as I'm going to do my Mr. Rogers impersonation, I can't keep going like that. Sorry. Sorry to disappoint. I know that's what you all were looking for; you didn't come here for the mask tests, you came here for the Mr. Rogers impersonations. Fred Rogers, as I call him, because I have a close relationship with him. That's not true.

This is a PFE machine: Particulate Filtration Efficiency machine. If you want to find out what we are doing with all this fancy equipment, I will provide a link for that, but this is doing basically the N95 Test. Now I'm doing it on a KF94. The 94 in the KF-94 stands for 94%; the 95 in N95 stands for 95%. So, it's kind of a similar test. I think, I don't know, I don't have the standard. I'd love to. The point is, I just want you to be able to tell if this mask is any good or not.

I also make comments on packaging, because that's what I do, and I love the Korean packaging with the Air-Soom Masks. The listing leaves a little bit to be desired here. Air-Soom. I don't like the font. What's going on here? I can't even zoom in. Come on. "Four layers of protection." This is a very basic listing, but the packaging is actually really nice. And it has one rating. One! How did we find this mask? One rating; what is it? "Fast shipping, nice packaging. Each mask individually passed, highly recommend." By Air-Soom's mom. Aw, that's so nice mom. My mom leaves all my comments as well.

So, I love the packaging. I love the color. This is great. It is all obviously in Korean because it's a Korean format, which makes it so great. I think it's harder for counterfeits to happen. KN95, widely, widely counterfeited, and the reason why is because anybody can make them. Right? But Korean KF94 has to be made in Korea and so it allows them to police it a little bit more.

That's nice. Do that a little test here. Oh, I gave that a good yank there. Let's open up. Hold on a second. Let me just try this on real quick and then we'll check and see how that mask did. Form it there. It's like if a surgeon and a ninja were to come together, that's what this looks like.

This is the best smelling KF94 I've had. It's like, I'm going to call this smell... something. I can't place it, it's barely there. If I wasn't thinking about what does this smell like, I wouldn't even think it has a smell; so that's really good. A lot of them have a pretty strong plastic-y or burning smell, which I actually don't mind, but it is present. It's hitting you in the face, it's not taking it lying down. This one I don't smell very much.

So, pretty good mask, but does that matter if it doesn't protect you? And this one passes. That's good. That's great. 98.975. I will say, this is the worst testing mask KF94 that we had today. All of them have been in the 99s. Almost made it, not quite there. But, come on.

Actually, I think it might be one of my favorites though, because the smell is so good. What was the... breathability. Yeah. I mean, for KF94 today, they've been testing really, really high. This is 168 pascals. I like to see masks under 150 pascals. That's me. If I'm going to put a mask on for more than a couple of hours, I want to see it below 150. This is a little bit higher than that, so I don't know if I would necessarily recommend it, but if you're looking for a KF94, this is a pretty good one.

The SEJIN-AIRSOOM mask passed our particulate filtration efficiency machine test with a score of 98.98%. KF94 masks are boat-style and made in Korea, which has very strict production guidelines. All KF94 masks have ear loops instead of head straps or head ties.

Mask breathability is determined by airflow resistance, which we measure in pascals. The target for adults should be around 150, and the target for children should be close to 100. The airflow resistance of this mask is 168.

This mask is one of the best-smelling KF94s we've tested. The breathability isn't ideal for multiple hours of wearing, but the lack of odor is a plus if you insist upon a KF94.
