Hey everyone. Welcome back to the place we're testing every single glove that we can get our hands on. Today we are looking, uh, upside down. Whoops. Today we're looking at the swift grip. Oh, get it. Swift grip 'cause Glo. Okay, let's open it up. They really put a lot of thought into that name. I'll give it to the folks at Swift Grift. That is a nice pink glove. I've never seen a pink glove before, but you know, I think that says more about me than the gloves. Um, okay, let's take a look at this guy here. So, oh, it's fuchsia. I was way off. Uh, who's this by? Made in China, distributed by Schneider Medical Industries is the name. Okay, we're gonna do the, uh, oh, I'll do it like this. This is the wind test on this. Oh, that's good. Okay. I would say that's a little better than average. I'm gonna do the thumb puncture. Huh? Didn't explode Pretty good. I wanna see what this glove smells like here. This is, this one's for you, Chuck. Gimme, gimme your opinion
That like nothing. Right? Good job, guys. Odorless and tasteless. Okay, so this was, oh wow. These are brand new gloves. This was made in, uh, in April. Okay. In April. All right. Ready to go? Yes, sir. Let's let her rip. All right. We are doing the, uh, uh, tensile and elongation test here. We're gonna test for, um, the tensile strength of these gloves. Um, and we're gonna take this sample, basically gonna stretch it till it breaks. When it breaks on the screen here, you're gonna see this shoot down. That's what all of these breaks are. These are all of the tests that we have done here to, for, um, and there we go. See the machine going. Seeing that stretch start seems like a pretty good glove. Um, I don't know. What do you think? What are we doing? How are we tracking? We're here right in the center.
The lower 50% of the curve lower. That's what it, that's what it felt like when I, when I broke it. Okay. That's a pretty good curve right there. Now for those of us just joining, you wanna see it on the lower end. That usually means it's going to last longer and we all want to last longer when it comes to elongation testing. Don't read into that, Tara. Geez. Alright, here we go. 450%, we wanna get a 500 ideally. And there it is. Night. Wow, this is a great glove that is. Holy crap. 534%. So we stretched that guy 534% until it broke. 534.7 to be exact. The tensile strength of 35. This is one of the best gloves we've had on this machine. Second only to the one that we ours that we tested yesterday, second only to ours. Oh, by literally four. So ours was 5 38 and uh, this one was 5 34.
What a great glove. And it's pink if that's your thing, if that's your thing. And it may or may not be. I'm sure they have different colors. Fuchsia. Sorry, Schneider. Alright. Swift grip. Uh, you have swiftly gripped my heart. Uh, and I, uh, <laugh>. I dunno what I'm saying anymore. Um, these are great gloves. I would totally recommend them. Um, and, uh, amazing that they're made in China and then they got here so quickly. I don't know how that's possible, but, uh, some sort of voodoo happening there. Great Gloves would recommend, uh, one pink thumbs up. Uh, thank you guys so much for watching and I will catch you on the next test.
