Hey everyone. Welcome back to the place we're testing every single glove that we can get our hands on. Uh, and today we're looking at our industrial gloves. Uh, they're black industrial. These are not our five 10 k, not our, uh, chemo rated gloves.
Okay,
Let's try these out. All right, so these made in America right here behind us. They should meet all the regulations for food contact.
Lemme try the glove on. Looks
Good. Let's do the wince test.
Ooh, ow. <laugh>
That has got a bite to it. It's always hits me in that same knuckle too. Um, that was pretty good.
Oh my
Gosh, I can't break this. Ow. Okay. It's pretty good. Did not explode. That's a, that's a good thing,
<laugh>
All right, we got the dog bone. Alright, so Tara's cutting these, uh, little testing, uh, strips for me. Uh, we call these dog bones. I'm gonna go this Chris and he is going to put it into this fancy machine. All right, let it rip. This is a elongation and tensile strength testing machine. Alright, so while the system is calibrating here, um, and gets ready to go, what we are doing is, uh, doing the elongation and tensile strength test. Basically we're gonna take this sample and we're gonna stretch it to 500% or greater. We are gonna stretch it until it breaks and our hope is that that does beat 500%, but we'll see now it's actually doing pretty well. It's right below the line of our best test today, which was our exam glove. So that makes sense. I can see it right along that line. So that's a good sign because that was the best test that we've had today. Uh, we'd love to see it beat that, uh, or hit it, but it's probably not going to 'cause it's starting to climb out right here as you can see slightly. And that's starting to hit
That. Yeah, that'll be close.
19.75 and 4 8 6.
Okay, so here's the deal. This is a six month old glove and that means that it has to get over 400 uh, percent. I secretly was really hoping that it was gonna get 500%. It didn't. It got 486. Still a really good glove. I'd love to see it do better, but it is our industrial glove. Now is this the best black glove out there? I think it's my favorite black glove out there, <laugh>, but it's also got my name on the box, so maybe I'm a little bit biased. It's good product. Um, and, and again, then you really need to know about gloves is that once they've hit that six month point for the next two or three years, that's gonna be like how good the glove is. So testing a glove that's been aged to six months is actually a really accurate representation of what it's gonna be for the life of the glove. Alright, thank you so much for watching. I appreciate your time and attention and uh, I'll catch you on the next test.
